After a great deal of organisation and hard work behind the scenes, Saturday 9th July arrived...Fete time! The weather was remarkably kind, following a rather unsettled period, as a steady flow of people joined us. There were many stalls (run by children and adults), pony rides, a water slide, food & drink and the ever popular soak the headteacher.
The sun came out just as the water slide started flowing and a great time appeared to be had by all. The Pimms was flowing, the burgers sizzling, fruit kebabs concocted and sugary faces were everywhere following the donut experience!
It was fantastic to see pupils past, present and future in attendance along with many members of the local community.
The PTFA had really done a great job and thoroughly deserved not only hosting a great event but also raising a profit well in excess of £1200.
Thank you to absolutely everyone who attended, ran a stall, donated, sold draw tickets or worked behind the scenes.
