WEBSITE
As parents have been made aware (by email) the current website is being replaced. Mr Lambillion-Jameson has spent a considerable time during the summer holiday designing a new site. It is almost ready and will go live very soon. Please look out for it. The old website is no longer being updated. Thank you for your co-operation.

African Adventure Day 3: Another very active day.The three main activities were:
Low Ropes
Climbing Wall
Archery
The three groups took turns to complete each activity. This was followed by orienteering before an African supper. The boys also prepared for their night in the Village before their evening meal. Let's hope that the weather is fairly warm overnight.

Day 2 The day was rounded off with a trip to the beach. Where has Joseph's body gone?

DAY 2 : Tuesday.
Another activity involved building a bridge so that some keys could be retrieved from a raft in a lake. It was amazing to see how sturdy our structures were.
Tuesday 12 July

Each group experienced working as a team to clear a minefield. It was tricky work and at least one team set a mine off before it was made safe.

Queen's birthday

On Friday 10th June, in celebration of the Queen's 90th Birthday, the pupils enjoyed a very different lunch. They had a 'street party' on the playground. Red Class made a union flag cake with different types of fruit providing the colours.

Visit to Framlingham, May 2016

The whole school enjoyed a trip to Framlingham Castle on Monday 23rd May 2016. Blue Class also visited the church and looked at the tombs inside. Pupils took notes for their history studies and made sketches to be developed in to prints and pictures back at school. The trip inspired some excellent writing which was demonstrated by some of the writers of the week.

Hockey Match

Last week, pupils from Y5 and 6 took on a group of Y7 pupils from the high school in a hockey match. Led by their coach, Mr Kendall, the team faced an opposition much older and bigger than them, but played fantastically, winning the game 8-1.

A big thank you to Mr Kendall for his coaching and organisation of the match and Mrs Sandall for fielding a Y7 team to pitch against us.

Red Class Mail Art

Mrs Elliott recently worked with pupils in Red Class to do some Mail Art, using mono-printing techniques to produce hearts and envelopes.

They were sent to Mail Artist Rebecca Guyver who has posted them on her blog.
