The rain of the previous few days cleared to enable the children from Earl Soham and Bedfield to display a footballing feast which had the capacity crowd pleading for more. Well, that's what it felt like from the centre circle.
It was great to see so many children enjoying being involved in what was a hard fought and entertaining affair. Split into four quarters, Bedfield led 1 - 0 after the first piece of the action. Earl Soham levelled so that half way through proceedings the score was 1 - 1. The third quarter saw Bedfield regain their advantage to lead 2 - 1 going into the final quarter. In a final 15 minutes, which was full of action, Earl Soham took the lead for the first time in the match, eventually being 4 - 3 ahead as the whistle blew for the last time. Congratulations to all on their efforts from both teams and a special mention to hat-trick hero Jamie on his debut and winning goal scorer Kyle.
